Although the spring steelhead season is dwindling
down, it is not completely over. The recent rains
pushed a small trickle of fish into the Muskegon river.
Tim and Doug of Chicago joined me for a couple days
of steelhead fishing and brought some decent fish to
the net. Eggs in a variety of colors and fry patterns
seemed to work best.
Dry fly fishing on the Au Sable is starting to heat up.
